In a remarkable display of solidarity, Malaysia has successfully dispatched its third air freight shipment of humanitarian aid to Gaza, sending a substantial 60 tonnes of essential supplies. This monumental effort is overseen by the Ops Ihsan Secretariat, a collaborative initiative comprising 60 NGOs, with Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia, Malaysian humanitarian Aid and Releif, Red A Humanitarian Development, Mercy Malaysia, Ihsan Johor, Be Vital and Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organisation playing a vital role as one of the core members.
The carefully curated aid includes critical medical goods and much-needed winter clothing, showcasing Malaysia’s commitment to addressing both immediate health concerns and the pressing need for warmth during the harsh winter months.
Al Arish Airport serves as the strategic hub for receiving this international aid, highlighting the concerted efforts to ensure swift and efficient distribution into Gaza. Coordinated trucking operations will seamlessly transport the aid from the airport to its final destination, directly benefiting those in need.
All Ngos role as the member of the Ops Ihsan Secretariat are essential to the success of this humanitarian project. This collaborative approach not only amplifies the impact of the aid but also reflects the strength of global partnerships in times of crisis.
